I’m a golf coach in West Sussex, registered with the World Golf Teachers Federation, and I’ve been playing the game since I was nine. Equipment looked very different back then, and my first club was a hickory-shafted 5-wood - one I learned to use to good effect. From the start, I understood how much having the right coach can shape a player’s development. That experience has influenced the way I now work with golfers, focusing on building their confidence and helping them get the most out of their own game.
My years at West Hove Golf Club were full of learning and achievement. I won junior and men’s club championships, captained junior teams, and represented Sussex at the under-16 level, later competing in inter-club matchplay. Those experiences taught me the value of tailored coaching, perseverance, and the importance of developing a game that suits each individual, lessons I now bring to every golfer I coach.
